The whole point

Health shouldn’t feel like punishment. It should feel like being alive.

Healthy as Hell is for people who want energy for the mountain, appetite for the meal, patience for the slow morning, and friends to laugh with when the plan goes sideways.

This is practical wellbeing in service of a bigger life—not perfection, performance theater, or another list of things to feel guilty about.

Photographed in Bali

Real places. Real people. Real sweat.

Every image here comes from a previous Bali trip or experience. No borrowed bliss, no anonymous stock sunsets.

Meet the founder

Health should make your world bigger.

Thomas Kane has spent more than two decades exploring a deceptively simple question: What does it actually mean to live a healthy and happy life?

His personal background spans raw and whole-food nutrition, extended wellness programs, fitness, entrepreneurship, and international travel. Healthy as Hell brings those threads together around movement, nourishing food, adventure, recovery, connection, discipline, and happiness—without demanding perfection.

Before you ask

Good questions. Honest answers.

The late-February 2027 retreat is still being contracted, so we would rather be clear than prematurely impressive.

01When in 2027 are you targeting?

We are targeting late February 2027, but exact dates are not confirmed. Founders-list members will receive the contracted dates and final details first, before any booking decision is required.

02What happens if it rains?

Late February falls within Bali's wet season. Scattered tropical showers are possible, and a brief downpour can sometimes give way to sunshine—but longer or heavier rain can happen too. Some activities may continue in light rain when local guides or operators determine conditions are safe. If heavy or persistent rain makes an outing unsafe or impractical, we will adjust the timing, change the order, or move to a planned backup experience. Every weather-sensitive itinerary item will have a timing adjustment or backup plan before booking opens.

03How fit do I need to be?

You do not need to be an athlete. You should be comfortable walking on uneven ground, handling stairs, spending active time outdoors, and preparing gradually for an early Mount Batur hike. We will publish final activity requirements when suppliers and routes are confirmed.

04Can I come solo?

Yes. The small-group format is designed to make arriving solo feel natural. You can request a shared room or choose a private room, subject to availability.

05Is airfare included?

No. International airfare, passports, visas, insurance, and pre- or post-retreat travel are not included. We will provide a clear arrival window and planning guidance once dates are contracted.
