The headline price of a Bali retreat is useful only after you understand what sits behind it. Two programs with the same number of nights may differ in room privacy, internal transport, meals, activity operators, group size, support, cancellation terms, and the number of expenses guests must arrange on the ground.
Compare the inclusion list line by line
Look for exact lodging nights and room occupancy, meals, airport or meeting-point transfers, inter-island boats, group vehicles, entrance fees, guides, equipment, gratuities, taxes, and optional upgrades. Ask whether a listed experience means transportation and admission are included or merely that time is left for guests to buy it.
Price also reflects operational choices that are less photogenic: conservative group ratios, vetted partners, contingency planning, advance support, and enough schedule margin to handle a real travel day. A lower price can be excellent value, but only when the tradeoffs are visible.
Calculate the whole trip
International airfare, passport or entry costs, insurance, pre- or post-retreat nights, independent meals, personal transport, vaccinations or health consultations, equipment, baggage fees, tips, alcohol, shopping, and optional treatments can sit outside the retreat fee. Build a range rather than one fragile number, and keep a disruption reserve available.
Read deposit, payment, cancellation, transfer, minimum-participant, itinerary-change, and roommate terms before paying. A compelling price should never pressure you to accept unclear conditions.
Healthy as Hell planning figures
Current proposed Founders Rates are $2,495 shared, $3,195 private, and $3,695 for a premium suite. They are planning figures only and subject to final dates, contracts, property inventory, occupancy rules, taxes, and inclusions. International airfare is not included, and no payment processing is open. Joining the Founders List is not a reservation.
